ROSE KAZANOWSKI

ROSE KAZANOWSKI

Group Fitness Instructor

Biography:

I have been surrounded by fitness my entire life, starting out at an early age as a gymnast and competitive swimmer, moving on to spend 15+ years training as a professional dancer. I moved to New York City at 18 to continue my dance training at Marymount Manhattan College where I graduated with a BFA degree in Dance. While living in New York, alongside my dance career, I immersed myself into every possible outlet to cross-train my body, from yoga and pilates at YogaWorks, cycling at SoulCycle, HIIT at Exceed Physical Culture, to boxing at The Dogpound, I fell in love with all the different forms of strength training!

In 2017, I relocated to Atlanta to join an international and national touring dance company, Core Dance Company, as a full time company member. Later that year my worst fear came to life, I tore my ACL during a performance and had to put my dance career on pause. After reconstructive knee surgery, and 12 months of physical therapy rehab, I found my way back into fitness. Within the journey of reteaching my intelligent body simple lessons like learning how to walk again, I was humbled and grew a deeper appreciation for the unique physical journeys we all embark on throughout our lives. I was given the opportunity to train as a Teacher at Exhale Atlanta, and received my Barre Certification in 2018, under the direction of Fred Devito and Lis Halfpapp, founders of Exhale. I currently teach Barre, HIIT, HIIT30, and Cardio at Exhale Atlanta. I am extremely excited to join the Lion’s Den Atlanta team and share my knowledge, passion, and high energy with all of you!
